Poro Point Development

Senator Richard Gordon, chairman of the Senate Committee on Tourism, together with La Union Gov. Victor Ortega, San Fernando City Mayor Mary Jane Ortega, Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson, Poro Point Management Corporation VP Anthony Manguiat and President Juanito Antonio, examines the blueprint of the ongoing construction of a “Corral Promenade” and intended tourism, recreation and commercial complex road network at the Poro Point special economic zone in San Fernando City.
Gordon filed SB 1840, “3-2-1 Luzon Global Corridor Act,” which aims to utilize and maximize the country’s infrastructure assets such as airports, seaports, railways and highways to accommodate industrial, agricultural, tourism and other enterprises.
