PARADEZA, BAGONG RTC JUDGE SA GAPO

Ikinatuwa ni Olongapo City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. ang pagkakatalaga kay Honorable Richard Paradeza bilang bagong tagahatol ng Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 72.

“I am certain that Judge Paradeza, being a native of Olongapo City, will discharge his duties with utmost responsibility and manifest commitment,’’ pahayag ni Mayor Gordon.

Ipinanganak si Paradeza noong ika-16 ng Hulyo, 1967 sa Lungsod ng Olongapo kung kaya’t bagaman naninirahan sa Libaba, Palaguig, Zambales ay maituturing pa rin na katutubo ng Lungsod.

Nanilbihang kagawad ng Sangguniang Bayan si Paradeza mula 1985 hanggang 1988 bilang boses ng Kabataang Barangay Federation.

Matapos manilbihan bilang “elected official” ay ipinagpatuloy pa rin ni Paradeza ang pagiging “public servant” sa pamamagitan ng paglilingkod sa iba’t ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaan; limang (5) taon sa Bureau of Local Government Finance mula 1990 hanggang 1995, pitong (7) taon bilang Special Prosecutor Officer sa Office of the Ombudsman mula 1995 hanggang 1992, limang (5) taon bilang Prosecutor II ng Manila Office of the City Prosecutor at noong ika-21 ng Agosto siya ay naitalaga bilang bagong hukom ng RTC Branch 72 sa Olongapo City.

Nagtapos si Paradeza ng Bachelor of Laws sa University of the East noong 1993 at naging ganap na abogado sa parehong taon. Gayundin, nagkamit siya ng degree sa pagiging Master of Jusrisprudence noong 2000 sa University of Sydney, Australia.

Maituturing si Paradeza na pinakabatang RTC judge sa Olongapo City at isa naman sa mga pinakabata sa buong Pilipinas.

Magugunita na kamakailan lamang ay ilang bagong opisyales ang naitalaga sa Olongapo City Hall of Justice; si Judge Tomas Eduardo Maddela III sa MTCC Branch 5, si Judge Raymond Viray sa RTC Branch 75, Prosecutor Emilie Fe De Los Santos sa Office of the City Prosecutor at ngayon nga ay si Judge Paradeza sa RTC Branch 72.
