Man in videoke brawl yields

SUBIC, ZAMBALES -- A man who figured in a fistfight with a drunken businessman in front of a videoke bar here surrendered to police authorities last Tuesday after learning that he had killed his opponent.

Accompanied by his father, suspect Alejandro Grateja, 21, a resident of Old Relocation Site, Agusuhin, Bgy. Cawag, surrendered to Senior Insp. Nelson Dela Cruz, Subic PNP Station chief, last Tuesday to face his case.

It was learned that around 11 p.m. on August 21, Alexander Parado, 43, of Bgy. Calapandayan and his friends decided to go home after rounds of beer at the One Stop KTV Bar located at Old Relocation Site, this town.

While still in front of the bar, the suspect arrived on his motorcycle and without warning punched the victim on its face until Parado fell to the ground. The suspect left afterwards.

The victim’s friends Oliver Marce, Helbert Hadji, Abel Lim Jayson Cabrega and Jayson Asero, all of Old Relocation Site, brought Parado to San Marcelino District Hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending doctor.
