NATIONAL BOOK WEEK 2010

Different publishers of books will conduct a book exhibit that will run from November 24 to 30 at the Olongapo City Public Library in celebration of National Book Week 2010.

According to Elizabeth Daduya, Acting City Librarian, the person who loves to read has extensive knowledge.

“Kaya naman hinihikayat namin ang mga Olongapeño na makiisa sa National Book Week na programa ni Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. at ng Olongapo City Public Library sa pagsulong ng public library at mini-libraries ng labing-pitong (17) baranggay,” said Daduya.

The Battle of the English Masters is a yearly competition under the National Book Week with this year’s theme, “Global Partnership”.

“Bawat taon ay tumataas ang bilang ng nakikilahok mula sa pribado at pampublikong paaralan, kaya mas lalo pa naming pinalawak ang kompetisyon,” Daduya added.

Here are the schedule for the Battle of the English Masters Year 4 with the Clash of the Science and Math Wizards Year 1 on November 25 at Olongapo City Convention Center:
