RED CROSS RAFFLE 2010 A SUCCESS

A young student from the Tabacuhan Elementary School won the Php 30,000 grand prize of the Phil. Red Cross-Olongapo City Chapter School fund-raising raffle draw aired live simulcast on SBC TV22 and DWGO-AM on December 5, 2010 Sunday.

The grand prize raffle ticket of Jhaydee Lañada was drawn by Eva Magda, member of board of directors, Phil. Red Cross-Olongapo City Chapter, witnessed by Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr., Eduardo Buen, Jr., Administrator PRC Olongapo, with Vic Vizcocho, Jr. SBC station manager and head of Public Affairs Office (PAO), and representatives of PRC Olongapo and Department of Education (DepEd).

Other lucky student winners are as follows;
2nd Prize-Liezl P. Enrique - 15,000-New Cabalan HS
3rd Prize-Rowell Pascua - 10,000-Gordon Hgts NHS
4th Prize-Lyn G. Correa - 5,000-OCES

Consolation Prizes
1. Jon Israel Riodeque - 2,000-OCES
2. Criskiefer Jensen - 2,000-OCES
3. Joshua Sarmiento - 2,000-Sta. Rita E/S
4. Robelita Abendana - 2,000-Balic2 E/S

The proceeds of the raffle is intended purposely for Emergency response and disaster preparedness in the city and programs for Red Cross youth, remarked Mitzi Quisay, chapter service representative.
